Collector's Edition 'Artist Cover Bomb' Series

The 'Artist Cover Bomb' series is the collector's edition of Collector's Edition: Innovative Packaging and Graphics, a visual culture book authored by Stuart Tolley and published by Thames & Hudson. The remarkable project is a collection of one of a kind artworks created by the most famous musicians, artists, and designers who were commissioned to draw directly onto a copy of a standard edition book cover. The resulting artworks, created by Sir Paul McCartney, Nick Cave, Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips), Robert '3D' Del Naja, Stanley Donwood, Peter Gabriel, Alec Soth, Jessica Hische, The Designers Republic and Oliver Jeffers, were sold at auction and raised £6,000 for the Alzheimer's Society.
